Volkswagen Golf has a new R Cabriolet version. You
would expect it to be a Golf VII R Cabrio, but no, it’s the sixth generation
that got the top off. It has a 2,0 l, 4-cylinder motor that can generate 265 HP
and 350 Nm, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6,4 seconds,
before reaching the electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

With a price that begins at 38 770 pounds in the UK
and 43 325 EUR in Germany, the new Volkswagen Golf VI R Cabriolet offers a 25
mm lowered suspension, bi-xenon headlights, LED DRLs, side sill extensions,
chrome-tipped exhausts, glossy black rear diffuser and mirror hounsings. Oh,
and don’t forget about the rims. You get 18 or 19 inch alloy wheels.
