Volkswagen Golf VII GTI (2013)

If a few days ago Volkswagen presented the new Golf GTD, now it is the time for the new VW Golf GTI to be revealed. Powered by a 2,0 liter, 4 cylinder, turbocharged engine, the German car has two versions: one with 217 HP and one with 227 HP. The more powerful version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6,4 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.

The standard package includes a 6 speed manual transmission, but an optional 6 speed DSG is also available. The GTI package also includes red accent line on the grille, extended into the headlamps, honeycomb grille inserts, smoked tail lamps, rear spoiler, twin pipes, side sills, a diffuser and 17 inch alloy wheels.

McLaren P1 (2013)

The highly anticipated McLaren P1 has been unveiled just a week before Geneva Motor Show. The supercar is powered both by a 3,8 liter V8 engine, capable of producing 737 HP and 720 Nm of torque, and an electric motor, that adds 179 HP and 260 Nm. Combined, the two motors generate 916 HP and 900 Nm of torque, allowing the new McLaren P1 to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, to 200 km/h in less than 7 seconds , to 300 km/h in 17 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h.

 Only with the electric motor, the supercar can go up to 20 km at an average speed of 48 kmh. There will be only 375 cars available and if you will pay it’s price (that will start from 1 150 000 USD, 1 004 800 EUR or 866 000 GBP)  you will also get satellite navigation, climate control and premium audio system.

Brabus 800 Roadster - Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG (2013)

The powerful Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Roadster has received a tuning kit from the famous Brabus, called Brabus 800. Starting from a 6,0 l V12 engine that used to produce 630 HP and 1000 Nm of torque, they managed to obtain 800 HP and 1420 Nm, limited to 1100 Nm,

If before the upgrade, the car accelerated from standstill to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds, after the upgrade the new Brabus 800 needs 0.3 seconds less and can reach an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h.

Beside the power upgrade, the kit includes a carbon fiber body kit, 20 inch alloy rims with high performance tires, a limited-slip differential and a customized interior.

Audi RS Q3 (2014)

Before presenting it at Geneva Motor Show, the German car manufacturers from Audi have revealed the new RS Q3 model. It has a 2.5 liter turbocharged engine that can produce 310 HP and 420 Nm of torque. Thanks to this power, the new Audi RS Q3 can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 5,5 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. Volkswagen Golf VII GTD (2013)

Before its debut, next month at the Geneva Motor Show, the new Volkswagen Golf VII GTD has been revealed by the Germans. Powered by a 2 liter, 4 cylinder engine, the new Golf GTD can develop 181 HP and 379 Nm of torque. In other words, the car can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 7,5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 230 km/h.

 The standard version includes a 6 speed manual transmission, but you can change it with a dual-clutch 6 speed DSG. The new Golf VII GTD has been also equipped with 17 inch alloy wheels, sports suspension,  chromed tailpipe, diffuser, stainless steel pedals, sports steering wheel, black headlining and sports seats.

Kia Pro Cee'd (2013)

The new Kis Pro Cee’d got the price for the UK market and can be ordered. You can choose from two versions, the S, which has a price starting from 17 495 pounds, or the SE with a starting price of 19 495 pounds.

Even if both versions have the same engine (1,6 l GDi with 133 HP and 222 Nm of torque), the Pro Cee’d SE can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds, with 0,3 seconds faster than the Cee’d S. Also, the SE has 17 inch wheels, stainless steel door sill plates and pedals, automatic dual-zone climate control, 7-inch touchscreen sat-nav system, automatic rain-sensing wipers and driver/passenger power lumbar seat support.

Aston Martin Vantage SP10 (2013)

Inspired by the GT4 racer, the new Aston Martin Vantage SP10 has been announced by the British car manufacturers. The sports car has a 4,7 liter V8 engine that can produce 430 HP and 490 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in just 4,5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 305 km/h. Aston Martin Vantage SP10 2013

 The new V8 Vantage SP10 has a 6 speed manual transmission, but there is also the option to choose a 7 speed automatic instead. It will be in both versions, coupe and roadster, and the price will start from 96 635 EUR (plus taxes). That amount of money will also ensure Ceramic Grey Metallic finish, 19 inch alloy rims, with black brake calipers, a front splitter, carbon fiber rear diffuser, clear rear lamps and the envy of everyone who sees you in the car.

Volkswagen Golf VI R Cabriolet (2013)

Volkswagen Golf has a new R Cabriolet version. You would expect it to be a Golf VII R Cabrio, but no, it’s the sixth generation that got the top off. It has a 2,0 l, 4-cylinder motor that can generate 265 HP and 350 Nm, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6,4 seconds, before reaching the electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

 With a price that begins at 38 770 pounds in the UK and 43 325 EUR in Germany, the new Volkswagen Golf VI R Cabriolet offers a 25 mm lowered suspension, bi-xenon headlights, LED DRLs, side sill extensions, chrome-tipped exhausts, glossy black rear diffuser and mirror hounsings. Oh, and don’t forget about the rims. You get 18 or 19 inch alloy wheels.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT (2013)

After debuting as a safety car in the Belgian Grand Prix, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT has been offered to the customers. Thanks to it’s 6.3 l V8 engine and to the optimized AMG Speedshift DCT 7 speed transmission, the supercar develops 591 HP and 650 Nm of torque. This allows it to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 11.2 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 320 km/h.

The new SLS AMG GT has been updated with the AMG Ride Control performance suspension, that combines the sophisticated suspension layout with twin aluminum wishbones, enhancing the car’s sportiness.

If you want one, you have to pay 204 680 EUR for the SLS AMG GT, 213 010 EUR for the SLS AMG GT Roadster and an extra 5 771 EUR for the AMG designo Exclusive Style leather.

Audi RS6 Avant C7 (2014)

Being the main competitor for Mercedes’ E63 AMG Estate, the new Audi RS6 Avant has a smaller engine compared with it’s predecesor. But this doesn’t mean that it’s weeker. With 560 HP and 700 Nm of torque, the new Audi RS6 Avant can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 305 km/h. More data in the spec sheet below.

 The new RS7 Avanat will be available in the summer (U.K.) and the price will start from 77 000 pounds.

Audi S6 C7 Quattro by MTM (2013)

 The tuners from MTM have updated the Audi S6 with a tuning kit, boosting the car’s power from 420 HP and 550 Nm to 555 HP and 700 Nm. In other words, the car can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 290 km/h. More info in the specification sheet below.

 Beside the power upgrade, the car was fitted with nine-spoke rims, custom suspension and a new braking system. If you want the power kit (3 791 EUR) plus the custom suspension (1 737 EUR) you will have to pay MTM 5 528 EUR.

Dodge Challenger R/T Redline (2013)

Dodge has anounced a special edition for the Challenger R/T, called Redline, that will be unveiled at Chicago Auto Show. The car is powered by a 5.7 l V8 HEMI engine that, in combination with a six speed manual transmission, develops 375 HP and 555 Nm of torque. The version with an automatic transmission develops only 372 HP and 542 Nm of torque. More details in the spec. sheet below.

Dodge Challenger R/T Redline

 The new Dodge Challenger R/T Redline will be available in four colors: Pitch Black, Granite Crystal, Bright White and Billet Silver. If you want to buy this special edition, you will have to add 1 995 USD to the standard price (31 990 USD – the R/T model and 33 990 USD – the R/T Plus model).

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 (2014)

The Germans from Mercedes-Benz have prepared a special edition for the new C 63 AMG, called, Edition 507, that will be introduced this year at Geneva. Tha maximum power of the car has been increased with 50 HP, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. All this performance boost was obtained through the technology transfer from the SLS AMG model.

Other modifications include the bonnet, borrowed from the C63 AMG Coupe Black Series, light-alloy cross-spoke wheels, available in titanium grey or matt black, AMG sports stripes in matt graphite grey, the spoiler lip, exterior mirror housings and the surrounds on the radiator grille and daytime driving lights, in high-gloss black, and darkened headlamps.

The sale release will begin on 8 April and the market launch in Germany will be inaugurated in June 2013.

Audi A8 L TDI (2014)

Presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the new Audi A8 L TDI will be sold in the United States, from the spring, at a price starting from 82 500 USD.  It has a 3,0 l V6 engine, that produces 240 HP and 550 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6,4 seconds.
