Volkswagen has presented the lineup of engines for
the new Golf Mk VII, with the destination UK. The petrol engines are a 1.2 l
TSI with 83 HP, returning 57,6 mpg and 113 g/km of CO2 a 1.2 l TSI with 103
HP, returning 57,6 mpg and 114 g/km of CO2 a 1.4 l TSI with 120 HP, returning
54,3 mpg and 120 g/km of CO2 and a 1.4 l TSI with 138 HP, with a consumption of
60,1 mpg and 109 g/km CO2 emissions. The diesel engines are a 1.6 l TDI with
103 HP, returning 74,3 mpg and 99 g/km CO2 and a 2.0 l TDI with 148 HP, with a
consumption of 68,9 mpg and 106 g/km emissions of CO2.

The prices for the new VW Golf Mk VII start from £16,285,
for the entry-level S 1.2-litre 83 HP and can reach £24,880 for the current
range-topper: the GT 2.0-litre TDI 148 HP with six-speed DSG gearbox.
